Whether a truck-mounted aerial platform needs to be placed at a construction job site, a busy city street, or a highway, our traffic management department is ready to help. A safe work environment is our first priority!
Evaluation & Work Plan
The process starts with an initial job site survey and evaluation of possible hazards. Our manager visits the job site to discuss the project with the client. We then recommend an aerial platform best suited for the job and discuss a work plan with the client.
As soon as the work order is received, our traffic management specialist applies for DOT permits. It takes between 2 to 10 days depending on the job location and season. We work closely with DOT officers to make sure that the stipulations on the permits allow maximum productivity on every job site.
Barricades and signs
Our traffic management team takes all steps needed to secure an appropriate spot for our platform, so that it can start work when scheduled without any delays. On the day of the job, the roadway and sidewalk is properly barricaded and traffic signs are placed in accordance with DOT regulations.
Pedestrians and roadway
When one of our lifts is rented to work on a busy city street, pedestrian as well as roadway traffic management is imperative. Upon arrival of the lift, our team promptly secures and barricades the work area. A flagman is provided to manage pedestrian and roadway traffic around the work site.
